Tasting Notes
This port style wine has been fortified with brandy to stop fermentation for the right balance of sweetness. This RAFINA is a field blend of Tinta Cao, Tinta Madera, and Touriga Portuguese grape varieties. Aged in French oak for 18 months RAFINA has classic flavors of blackberry and chocolate. Great with pungent cheeses like blue and almonds after dinner.

This is a luscious port with lingering berry flavors but also with nice acidity as a counterpoint to its sweetness. For dessert, I have it with a square of 70%-cocoa dark chocolate. Perfection!
